At Amazing People Schools we know role models are a powerful source of inspiration for young people. That’s why we’re partnering with VSS – Virtual Soccer Schools  on a series of live, virtual events with football stars such as Fábio Carvalho, Martha Thomas and Tim Ream. These Q&A sessions make an ideal ready-to-go assembly or form time and support the personal development and PSHE curriculums.

How Do the Live Events Work?

  • The sessions address topics such as ‘kindness’ and ‘teamwork’
  • They usually kick-off at 9.30am and run for 45 minutes
  • Events are hosted by Tom Lamb, VSS Co-Founder
  • At the beginning of the event, the football star addresses a key question, for example, ‘how do you respond to difficult times in your career?’
  • A dynamic session follows with pupils exploring with the player how to build and use innate character strengths

Event Terms & Conditions 

  • Please be aware that this event will be recorded and may be used by APS, VSS and other media partners both digitally and on broadcast media for the purpose of promoting the event to other schools (and such other uses as explained in our privacy policy [available here]).
  • Some of this video footage will contain footage of attendees. As such, by agreeing for attendees of your school to be filmed, you are confirming that you have provided information about the filming (and how the footage will be used, as explained in our privacy policy) to those attendees and, where necessary, their parents, and that you have allowed them an opportunity to ‘opt-out’ of being filmed.
